What are the benefits of participating?

  • Miss American Diamonds is a pageant that was founded on Christian principles. Our pillars include confidence, leadership, service, and integrity.

  • Our program is designed to help you uncover and discover the diamond that resides inside of you.

  • The skills you learn through each competition teach you how to speak with confidence and how to present yourself. You’ll walk away with life-long skills, friendships, and memories.

Are there practices? Do you need experience to participate?

  • No, but we randomly offer virtual training workshops through our M.A.D. Leadership Academy. These workshops are optional with a nominal fee.

  • No experience is needed to participate. We do strongly encourage participants to practice at home.

  • Tips: be sure to smile, show off your personality, and have fun on stage strutting your stuff.

How much does it cost to participate?

  • The Entry Fee is $195. See the Fees page for additional information.

  • The entry fee covers the cost of producing the pageant: awards, trophies, choreographers, emcees, lighting, sound, staging, judges' expenses, staff, florists, hotel ballroom rental, printed materials, office support, and all of the many other things that go together to make our program the best it can be for you and your family. 

  • You can pay the entry fee or seek out sponsors. Businesses, family, friends, or fundraising activities are all great ideas for raising your entry fee. Sponsor contributions can cover any pageant-related costs, such as the Entry fee, Optional Competitions, Hotel Room, Flowers, tickets, and more.

Are there any discounts?

  • We do randomly offer discounts.

  • We offer a $25 referral credit for each friend that you refer that is new to Miss American Diamonds Pageant. Credits do not convert to cash.

Does everyone win something?

  • Absolutely, all participants will receive a participation award. Division winners win a crown, sash, trophy, flowers, and bible.

  • The ultimate prize is to help each participant uncover and discover the diamond that God placed inside of them. 

Are fees refundable? What happens if I am not able to attend?

  • Fees are non-refundable or transferable. Fees help cover the cost to produce the pageant, purchase awards, allow us to guarantee prizes, etc.

What is People’s Choice?

  • Each participant is welcome to participate in the People’s Choice online contest. The participant asks their family and friends to support them by voting. Each vote is $1. People's Choice votes are considered pageant credits and go toward pageant fees minus processing fees.

  • The participant that raises that has the most vote will be named the People's Choice Winner. 

  • This is an ongoing opportunity. 

Do I have to stay at the Host Hotel?

  • Of course not. You are free to stay where you would like. However, we have secured a discounted room rate for you to take advantage of. The discount is typically available three days prior to and three days after the pageant.

Will there be a dressing room?

  • Yes, there is a reserved spot for participants to change.

What is Check-In?

  • Check-In is when you turn in your pageant paperwork, pay entry fees, and purchase admission tickets.

Who provides the attire for the pageant participant?

  • Each participant is responsible for providing her own wardrobe.
