Barbara J .James

 

Barbara James is a wife of a police officer and the founder of Nothing But Love Inc. and the Miss American Diamonds pageant program. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management and a Master’s in Management and Leadership from Webster University. Barbara's commitment to empowering young women educationally, socially, economically, and professionally gave her the idea to launch the Miss American Diamonds (M.A.D.) Pageant Program in 2013.

 

Miss American Diamonds is a Christian faith-based pageant for everyday young ladies, leaders among their peers, and those who want to let the DIAMOND that GOD placed in them to shine bright and sparkle in all they do!

 

“Before I started competing in pageants, my self-confidence was non-existent. It was through pageants that I learned to love myself! Through pageants, I learned how to communicate more effectively with my peers and others, plus I developed leadership and interview skills, and the importance of volunteerism” says Barbara.

In 2022, Barbara decided to produce the first-ever First Responders Fundraiser & Pageant. The event will celebrate First Responders in a fun and exciting way. Those that compete will be honored and have a chance to walk away with a cash prize, trip, and other sponsored gifts. Barbara's love and respect for First Responders go far beyond this event. She serves on the Advisory Board of SSM St. Joesph West Hospital, volunteers as a fundraising/event planner with ESOP, and support several charitable organization throughout the Greater St. Louis area.

Barbara has dedicated more than 20 years to the not-for-profit industry as a fundraising professional for organizations such as Community Living Inc., Tree House of Greater St. Louis, American Red Cross, and NPower. She currently serves as Director of Human Resources and Employee Engagement at WEMA Logistics LLC. in St. Louis, MO. Outside of working full-time she along with her daughter and mother developed the United Fist (a symbol of Unity) that is growing support and momentum throughout the USA.
 

Barbara is a wife, mother of three, daughter, sister, and friend to many. Her motto is: Whether you aspire to be a doctor, lawyer, or the president of the United States of America, Nothing But Love, Inc. and the Miss American Diamonds pageant family is here to help you conquer your dreams.
